The New Market Eagles are cooking up a daylong feast of food and fun on Saturday, October 10, 9am - 4pm, to benefit SEARCH. All ages are invited to sample chili, check out the classic car show, enjoy live music, shop at 15+ vendors, and enter a Frisbee competition!
Kids can choose a pumpkin to decorate, enter the bounce house and play old-fashioned games.
The Chili Witch is a special guest who will be casting her magical spells on the chili, the cars, the pumpkins, and you too if you aren’t having enough fun.
Cooks are encouraged to enter the chili cook-off competition!
Prep work may be done at home, but the chili must be cooked beginning at the Eagles facility with a beginning time of 6 a.m. Contact Brian at 540-607-0430 for any other specifics. The grand prize winner will receive a $350 gift from Randy’s Hardware.
More than 100 vehicles will compete in five categories in the Car Show: Hot rod, Exotic, Pre-1970s, Truck and Motorcycles.
SEARCH residents are excited to judge the Best of Show!
In addition to sampling chili, breakfast sandwiches, donuts, hot dogs, popcorn, coffee and water also will be available for purchase by buying tickets.
All items will cost $1 per ticket with the exception of $2 for a breakfast sandwich.
Or get a deal with $10 for 11 tickets, $20 for 22 tickets.
Or go whole hog for $30, which entitles the wearer to a wristband for unlimited eating!
